My job is what susan sontag described as “regarding the pain of others”. So true!

I once gave up witnessing pain of others and got into town planning profession, internet business and academic circles, but felt more pain of enslaving myself in the office.

Now a freelance worker, the pain is somewhat lessened as i have more freedom to do what i want, including witnessing the charms of the world too, before they vanish.
