My name is Lyndsey Burr. I'm a producer for the hit American travel-adventure TV series, Destination Truth. The show is a SciFi Channel / NBC-Universal original series and we're preparing to film the 3rd season of our show. We're actively seeking local producers to assist us in our efforts to bring all new adventures to ourviewers. Each episode is a one- hour format and features investigations of strange creatures, enduring mysteries, hauntings, or unexplained phenomenon in remote locations around the world. This can include cryptozoological creatures, monster sightings, ghosts, curses, lost cities, etc. Our team investigates eyewitness reports of such stories, interviews experts, conducts an investigation, and draws conclusions based on the evidence that we collect. We're looking for stories that fit a certain mold. We're looking for sightings and experiences that are contemporary, with recent eyewitnesses who can share vivid stories with our viewers (we don't want to go looking for a creature that nobody has reported seeing in the last hundred years....). We love things that are off the beaten path (The Yeti in Nepal, a haunted mosque in the remote jungles of Malaysia, the giant anaconda in Brazil, dinosaurs spotted in Papua New Guinea, a cursed cave in Indonesia, The Mongolian Death Worm, etc.) We have never filmed in China before and considering the country's beauty and rich history, we think it's the perfect fit for Destination Truth. For example, we love the idea of going on the hunt for the Yeren and the Lake Tianchi Monster! Now we just need to hammer out these stories, gather a few more, and find a great producer!
