Telepathy with plants

Posted in Green Snapshots by xina

click to see more green snapshots taken during hiking in HK…

When i put my hand onto a plant or tree, we exchange our mind atoms…

Mind atoms are what constituting “self”.

We think “self” is “myself”, but it’s not… it’s just a collection of mind atoms attracted to each other.

They got loosened in dreams, or whenever they want to join another pool of mind atoms.

Some of my atoms are too tired walking around and find a peaceful shelter joining the tree… whereas some atoms may get bored staying inside tree and attach to me through telepathy…

sometimes i feel a bit dizzy after telepathy with plants… maybe the atoms have been staying immobile too long with trees and lose their balance walking around again?

sometimes we don’t exchange atoms, just telepathy, and we exchange memories, perspectives, and feelings… I get dizzy afterwards too, as my atoms getting more tree-like now. If some tree atoms attached to me, i will know… as i will be getting more inquisitive but less aggressive, more peaceful but less pessimistic…

i like going to the mountain, it’s like going home…

I like to place my desktop icons freely. To cheer myself up in the mid of boring desktop work, I’ve created 4 scenes with my photos. Feel free to download and use!

Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden

Posted in Green Snapshots by xina

I have been to the Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden for many times these few years, but always for work. It’s the first time going there for leisure this morning, and have a much better glimpse of her beauty.

Mountains of KFBG may probably have the best biodiversity in Hong Kong, where you can also find hearty exhibitions and art work…

Raindrops…

Posted in Green Snapshots by xina

Inspired by my friend Shirley’s blog article After Rain, I took my camera with me when I went for lunch at HKU. The lotus pond is now blossoming; raindrops sit still on the leaf surface. It’s more charming than diamonds… well, I know many would disagree…

The price of taking these raindrop pics is high! A sudden wave of itchiness attack all over my body; I have been franked and attacked by an army of mosquitos! They not only bite exposed skin areas, but even sting through my pants!

gemsAfter taking the pic on the right, a big mosquito speeding towards my face, I flee as fast as I can.
My arms have already turned into a skin map, with islands of mosquito bites. It’s so itchy that I even want to light a fire to burn the bites!

flowers, lichens, fungus and 30 degrees

Several paths link the University of HK with the Peak; my favourite is the longest one. Let’s meet my old and new natural friends enroute here:

Most of the trail is free of cement. My feet are pampered by fallen leaves, soil and pebbles, which make each landing soft and springy. Jogging is so much easier! My spirit as high as the 30C temperature today!

Happy Labour Day hike! Cheers for skipping work and be lazy today!
