A team of Conservation Officers from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department takes us to explore the habitats of fresh water fish in Hong Kong.

Take a look at how a pair of HK paradise fish fight like dancing in choosing a mate!

Meandering through various local streams, you will be surprised by the abundance of fish species in such a compact city as Hong Kong. Located at the northern fringe of the Equator, Hong Kong is fortunate to have a rich mix of local wildlife species, including over 160 kinds of fresh water fish. Take a look at a surprisingly clean stream just next to a highrise development in Tsuen Wan:

The Conservation team forays into over 200 rivers and streams in Hong Kong, to compile first hand records of our fresh water fish habitat, as part of the most comprehensive biodiversity survey ever conducted in Hong Kong. Take a look at their endeavor in the Man Yee Reservoir:
